At the opening of the meeting, Mr. Yin Tianwen, Chairman of the General Low Voltage Electrical Appliances Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the guests and units that provided support for this event on behalf of the organizer. Mr. Yin Tianwen emphasized that the methods for achieving the dual carbon goals and the construction of new power systems have opened up new areas of development for the low-voltage electrical appliance industry. He further pointed out that the rapid development of new power distribution systems will become an important task for the low-voltage electrical appliance industry to achieve high-quality development. Faced with the rapid development of national new energy, the construction of new power systems entering a new stage, large-scale equipment updates, and the promotion of healthy and sustainable development of the industry, Chairman Yin called on industry enterprises to grasp technological changes, market changes, and changes in productivity. I hope that the entire industry will work together to build a bright future for high-quality development of the low-voltage electrical appliance industry.
Mr. Liu Changsheng, Executive Vice President of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, delivered an important speech and highly praised the work of General Low Voltage Electrical Equipment Branch. He mentioned that through in-depth visits to industry enterprises, it was observed that product quality and production methods have undergone fundamental changes, which fully demonstrated the efforts and remarkable achievements made by the industry over the years. In response to the rapid development of new energy and the transformation of power mode, President Liu pointed out that traditional energy can no longer meet the growing demand, and the energy storage field is also facing a series of urgent problems. He emphasized that these problems require the entire industry to think together and find solutions. In the context of new energy, new systems and low carbon, how to improve the certification and conformity assessment system is an important issue facing everyone. He firmly believes that although the industry faces many challenges, the opportunities for development are always greater than the difficulties. He encouraged the low-voltage electrical industry to continue in-depth research and jointly promote the high-quality development of the industry.
Mr. Zheng Shiquan, Director of the Fifth Product Certification Division of China Quality Certification Center, gave a speech. He interpreted the major adjustments and policy background made to the implementation methods of low-voltage electrical appliances 3C certification in Notice 192 issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation in April this year. He emphasized that the core of productivity lies in innovation, and the key to innovation lies in quality excellence. Only by continuously improving the quality of products and services through technological innovation can low-voltage electrical appliance companies lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the upstream and downstream industrial chains. He further pointed out that certification and testing, as an important service work to support industrial technological innovation and ensure quality, must keep pace with the development of the industry and make corresponding adjustments and optimizations to better serve the high-quality development of the industry.
During the conference, experts from various fields including industrial economics, new energy and low-voltage electrical manufacturing, materials, equipment, platforms, testing and certification will engage in comprehensive and in-depth exchanges on key topics such as new industrialization, intelligent manufacturing, innovative technologies and solutions, digital transformation, green and low-carbon development, and application trends in the photovoltaic energy storage industry, presenting a feast of collision of ideas.
